What our customers say
I just wanted to send you a whole-hearted thank you!! I picked up the books the other day and they are incredible—thank you SO much for helping make this project happen on such late notice. We wouldn't have been able to do it without you!!
We received them and they look lovely once again! We're super happy with how they turned out and are excited to send some more copies out into the world…
Hudson did an amazing job on a coffee table I worked on as a designer!
Frequently Asked Questions
Hardcover binding is a natural fit for any project where longevity, prestige, or a premium impression matters. Common applications include company history books, commemorative publications, annual reports, portfolios, training manuals, coffee table books, yearbooks, and self-published titles intended for retail or gifting. If the book needs to feel like it will last, hardcover is the right choice.
Yes. A dust jacket adds a layer of design flexibility and gives the book a retail-ready appearance. The jacket is printed separately and wrapped around the finished hardcover. If you're producing a book intended for sale, gifting, or public presentation, a dust jacket is worth the added investment. Please consult us for proper page sizing.
Adhesive case binding is the process used to produce hardcover books without spine sewing. The interior pages are gathered, the spine is roughened, and a strong adhesive bonds them to the endsheets. The endsheets are then applied to a rigid board cover wrapped in printed material. The result is a durable, professional hardcover book at a more accessible price point than traditional sewn binding. It's the most practical hardcover option for short to medium print runs.
Because we print digitally, we can produce hardcover books in very small quantities — sometimes as few as ten to twenty-five copies. This makes hardcover binding accessible for self-publishers, businesses producing presentation copies, and organizations commemorating a milestone without needing a large commercial print run.
The interior should be supplied as a single print-ready PDF with pages in reading order, at 300 dpi with bleed included. The cover artwork — front, back, and spine — should be supplied as a separate file sized to the exact dimensions we provide, which are calculated based on your page count and interior paper stock. We will give you a cover template once we know your specifications, so wait for that before finalizing your cover design.
